Mega Motion Free Standard Shipping
Your lift chair will be delivered via freight truck and is the free delivery service included with the purchase of your lift chair. The supplier (Mega Motion) uses a variety of carriers depending on the area in which you live. In some cases, some carriers may not be able to access your home or driveway for a variety of reasons. In such cases, the carrier may use another service such as FedEx or UPS to deliver your lift chair, however, this is not a guarantee as some carriers and shipping areas (especially more rural locations) have different service options available, which is beyond the control of Freedom Lift Chairs.
In a case where the carrier may not be able to deliver your lift chair directly to your home, they may be able to make other arrangements or you may need to pick up the chair at their shipping terminal/office. These cases are rare, but do happen from time to time.
What Exactly Does Free Delivery Include?
Your lift chair ships directly from one of the supplier's five warehouse locations in the country and from the nearest location that has your chair in stock. If the driver is able to access your driveway and home, they will bring the lift chair to the closest dry spot. For example, if the nearest dry spot is your garage, then the driver will bring it to your garage. If it's your front porch, then they will bring it to your front porch. In some cases, the freight company may only be contracted to allow their drivers to provide curbside delivery.
The freight company and driver will be in touch with you to set up a delivery time once the lift chair has arrived to the nearest shipping center. Since every carrier is different and every home is different, we cannot guarantee that they are able to bring your chair directly into your front door. We suggest making arrangements to have a friend or family member at your home during the delivery time to help, if necessary.
Our free delivery service does not include the set up of your lift chair. Instructions for set up are provided and set up is fairly simple. You can always contact Mega Motion's technical department to assist with set up by calling 1-800-634-2508.

When Will I Receive My Lift Chair?
If your lift chair is in stock, it generally ships within 24-48 business hours. Lift Chair orders received on weekends and holidays will ship 24-48 business hours starting on the next business day Mega Motion's office is open. For example, if you order your chair on Saturday, it may not ship until the following Tuesday.
Depending on your location, customers generally receive their lift chairs within 5-7 business days after being shipped from the nearest warehouse where your particular item is in stock. Our order department will advise you when your lift chair has shipped and will provide the carrier and tracking details via email. Holidays, weather conditions, and other situations beyond our control may increase shipping times.
**Anyone with white glove delivery service may experience delays in delivery due to the white glove delivery company's schedule and availability.
Orders cannot be cancelled due to shipping delays as this beyond Freedom Lift Chair's control. We can only provide customers with shipping estimates based on past shipping experience. There is no cost-effective way to quickly ship lift chairs across the country to various locations and this is not something we can guarantee.

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and have pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that your lift chair is in stock and available for immediate shipment.
If your lift chair is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 2 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
You can expect to receive your lift chair be delivered within 5-7 business days after placing your order, however, shipping times are not always guaranteed as many factors including weather and different shipping company policies may affect the delivery of your order.
If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, Mega Motion will ship within two business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within 4 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your lift chair does arrive damaged, please send photos to email@example.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. If the lift chair does not operate, please contact us directly so we can coordinate having a replacement chair delivered and arrange for the broken chair to be picked. If the chair does not work due to a mechanical failure and cannot be fixed under the warranty program, then exchanges are free of charge.
Cancellations & Refunds
All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a $35 administration fee plus any additional payment processing fees whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will be charged a 25% restocking fee (charged by the supplier to cover all shipping and labor costs). Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.
Items can be returned back to the supplier within 30 days. After 30 days, your lift chair is not eligible for return. If there is a mechanical failure and the technician cannot fix the problem, then your chair will be exchanged free of charge. Please see our warranty page for more details about the warranty program.
If you are eligible for a return and once the supplier confirms receipt of the chair, you will be provided with a refund less the 25% restocking fee. Shipping furniture is expensive, which is why the restocking fee is charged. Lift chairs can only be returned in original packaging so please take care when removing the lift chair from the box. Keep all packaging in tact and all parts, pieces, and manuals together in case you need to return the chair. To initiate a return, please contact us directly so we can make sure you are eligible for return and to begin the returns process. Lift chairs not in original packaging and not properly sealed will not be picked up and returned back to the supplier.
If you refuse your lift chair order upon delivery, you will still be charged a 25% restocking to cover return shipping.
Refunds can take up to 30 days to process due to supplier receiving and processing times. We cannot provide you with a refund until the supplier confirms that they have received the lift chair back in as-new condition.
**All returns, exchanges, and refunds are subject to supplier approval.
Freedom Lift Chairs is happy to offer our customers the ability to exchange their lift chair within 30 days of purchase. Since it can be a little challenging to find the right size for your needs, despite your efforts to take measurements, customers can exchange their lift chair but must cover exchange shipping costs and must pay the difference if they choose a higher priced lift chair. The cost of exchange shipping will vary by order and supplier and can only be determined at the time of exchange. Customer will be sent a custom invoice and must pay it before the exchange is initiated. Chairs must be like-new condition or the supplier can deny the customer's request for an exchange. Chairs received damaged or not in proper working order will be replaced by the supplier, free of charge. Please contact us directly for exchange requests.
